Sensitive content: This film features real stories about body appearance that may be upsetting to some viewers. While social media can foster creativity and connection, it is also one of the biggest threats to young people’s mental health today. In fact, NEW 2023 #DoveSelfEsteemProject Research for Kids Online Safety shows 8 in 10 youth mental health specialists say social media is fueling a mental health crisis. Join the Dove Self-Esteem Project and our partners Common Sense Media and ParentsTogether Foundation to help make social media a healthier, safer experience for kids. Well done Dove, this is incredibly powerful! 👏

MERCI 1000 fois, Fred, de reposter ça... Peu de gens se rendent compte à quel point ces standards toxiques affectent l'existence d'une majorité. C'est cruel et le mal dure toute une vie...

That is terrible that social media only shows that one body type and attitude are correct. That is fantastic, that you have focused on this topic. I really hope that the beauty industry begins to focus on that different body shapes are beautiful and that we don't need to be the same.

What a powerful message I wondered if we could set up a call. I’m involved a charity called SEED- SEED (Support and Empathy for people with Eating Disorders) https://seed.charity The charity needs your support and please help myself and Gemma who’s parents started the charity in making a difference to kids and adults life’s before it’s too late. Please send me a message and I will provide my numer and email so we can make a bigger change.

Wow. As the dad of a 13yo daughter, who is one of too many who struggles with this stuff, thank you Dove. 🙏🏻❤️ My generation was lucky not to grow up in such a toxic world and we owe it to our children to protect them from the algorithms that prey on them. Thank you for leading the way. We must all follow and act.

something to really think about and hopefully make some big changes

Brilliant. Thank you Sinead for sharing. It is so relevant right now as a mum with two teenage girls.
